The Whirlpool Property
Located at 740 King Edward Avenue, the property was operated by Whirlpool until its closure in 2012. The abandoned plant site is now a significant obstacle between Blythe Oldfield and the rest of Cleveland.
BOCA is working with City Fields and city council officials to advocate for responsible development, growth, and investment that is in the best interest in the life of the community. We envision a space that reconnects the neighborhood with Cleveland through greenspaces, outdoor entertainment, beautiful streetscapes and more.
